The world we live in is truly amazing. Stop for a second and close your eyes, imagine your surroundings or nature without any colour! It would probably still look impressive in monochrome, but colour makes life rich and beautiful.

Colours can affect our emotions, appetite, sexuality, business, relationships and well-being.

Ancient Egyptians built solarium rooms using various colours of glass. They knew that each ray of colour affected people in different ways.

As I mentioned in part 1, colour is energy, vibrant colours excite giving the sensation of speed. We can all use colour to our advantage and consciously use colour for calm, clarity and creativity. Once you are aware of how colour affects you, use colour to change how you feel, your energy levels, your mood etc.

Einstein said ‘Everything is energy in different forms.’

Colour is energy and we are energy therefore each colour can affect your energy. Each colour vibrates at a certain rate. Red is slower than blue and will feel different. When we look at a rainbow initially we notice red, followed by orange, yellow, green, blue etc.

Red is the slowest vibration and each following colour vibrates faster and faster until you see purple. In the same way we are also rainbows and the vibrations of your body, thoughts and emotions correlate to the colours of the rainbow. This is what the Egyptians knew.

Techniques such as colour chakra balancing work on this theory and is something I have tried and recommend.
